Meet your coach

Pryce “PY” Yates

My teammates at UConn called me PY. I grew up in San Antonio, played defensive line at Reagan High School, and spent four seasons on the Huskies' defensive front before finishing my career at outside linebacker for North Carolina.

College football taught me what real strength and explosiveness take. Stepping away from the game after injuries taught me the rest: recovery, mobility and longevity matter just as much. PY Training puts both sides together, so your athlete builds power that lasts.

For parents & athletes

Safety & Trust

I know what injuries can take from an athlete. Safe progressions and smart recovery come first, especially for young athletes still growing.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to play football to train with you?

No. Strength, speed and mobility help every sport. I train football players, basketball and soccer players, track athletes and adults who want to move better.

Should my athlete do 60 or 90 minutes?

Younger athletes and first-timers usually start with 60 minutes. 90-minute sessions suit high school and older athletes who want extra strength and sport-specific work.

Is strength training safe for middle schoolers?

Yes, when it's coached and age-appropriate. Youth groups focus on bodyweight strength, coordination and good movement before any heavy loading.

How much does it cost?

Pricing and session packages are coming soon. Send a message through the form below and I'll share current rates.
